Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and encourage social interaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Background check and reference verification required.
