Job Description:
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential care and companionship to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while helping them maintain independence. This role allows you to build meaningful relationships while offering support to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their dignity is maintained.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation, games, and hobbies to promote a positive mental state.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare healthy, home-cooked meals that cater to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform routine household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing to keep the home environment safe and comfortable.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time and according to their doctor’s instructions.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help clients move safely around their home, including assistance with walking and transferring from bed or chair.
  • Errands & Transportation: Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, or other essential errands.
  • Health Monitoring: Observe changes in the client’s physical or emotional health and communicate them to family members or healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or as a personal care assistant is preferred but not required. We offer training for the right candidates.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Certifications: CNA certification is a plus but not necessary.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and other physical caregiving tasks.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for errands and appointments.
