Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Follow individualized care plans and document care as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA license or HHA certification (required)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance in your name (required)
- CEU's
- Physical examination and TB screening (preferred if available)
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to all scheduled shifts
