ComForCare North Simcoe is seeking compassionate and professional Personal Support Workers to join our Barrie team.
We are looking for naturally nurturing PSWs who are interested in a rewarding career providing services to a client in a retirement facility. We celebrate success and encourage opportunities for growth.

Job Summary:
Providing high quality, compassionate personal care to clients guided by an individualized care plan.
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living including but not limited to:
-bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene
-ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercises with the safe use of assistive devices
-toileting and incontinence care
Meal planning, preparation and assistance with eating
Companionship, meaningful engagement activities and household management
Homemaking tasks including: light housekeeping, dusting, sweeping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry and cleaning bathrooms
Medication Reminders
Electronic documentation as per agency policy
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a PSW certificate course
At least six months experience as a PSW in a community care setting
Current CPR and First Aid
The ability to obtain a vulnerable sector check acceptable to ComForCare North Simcoe
The ability to get to clients home in a defined geographical area
Someone who is naturally nurturing, friendly, positive, patient and respectful
