ComForCare is a Home Health Care Agency connecting certified aides to clients, matching the experience and talent of the aides to the needs and wants of the client. Established in 2009, our company has been serving the North Bergen County area for nearly 15 years, largely in thanks to a wonderful team of office staff. We are now looking for a Scheduler to continue to assist in day-to-day operations.
Role Description
ComForCare is seeking a Scheduler for a full-time on-site role. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating caregivers' schedules, resolving potential scheduling conflicts, and ensuring that caregivers are available to provide care to patients as required. The Scheduler will work closely with caregivers, the Director of Nursing, and the patient care team to ensure that all patients receive the care they need.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in scheduling and/or administrative support in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and caregivers
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Good understanding of the healthcare industry and scheduling processes
- Ability to work with computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively multitask and work well under pressure
- Compassionate, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
