RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.  
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
  • Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Providing medication reminders and verbal cues 
  • Providing transportation to and from appointments as a personal escort for clients
  • Helping with pet care for some clients
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care.
  • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
  • Must be reached via phone or email for shift schedules and client updates. 
  • Able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Prior experience is a plus but not necessary.  We will provide all the training necessary to prepare you for a rewarding experience.

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Behavioral health and mental health visit charges are more expensive than general care visits. Behavioral Health (Consult Fees Apply)- Licensed therapist - $90 per consult, Psychiatrist - $220 first consult and $100 for ongoing visits.
Paid Time Off
Pro-rated amount equal to one weeks’ of pay annually from the first through fourth year of continual agency employment, then eligible for two weeks' of pay annually.  Ask about details
