Work hours:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Vacation
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • on call
  • weekend availability

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE (will vary by client)
  • Help with activities of daily living
  • Help with shopping, errands and transportation
  • Pick up prescriptions and help with telehealth visits
  • Perform light household chores, such as laundry and changing linens
  • Meal planning and preparation.
  • Provide company and conversation.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
  • Follow a plan of care
  • Communicate professionally with families and their team.
  • Arrange the clothes and help to dress
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Help family members learn safe care techniques
  • Other functions that may be assigned

RATINGS
  • Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment.
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to interpret the plan of care provided by the client
  • Valid driver's license, car and transportation insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
  • Tolerance for small pets (ie dogs and/or cats)
  • Must be able to be reached by phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/or emergencies
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Previous experience with dementia patients and caring for the elderly a plus
  • Access to email and a smart mobile device
  • You must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care.

Compensation: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
