Full Time • Sioux Falls
Great advancement opportunity for someone who has health care experience! As a Lead On Call Caregiver with Kore Cares, you will assist clients with activities of daily living, be a mentor, trainer and role model to other caregivers, as well as participate in on call rotation. 

Hours are very flexible. Work on call hours only or be scheduled with clients during the day as well. You tell us how many hours a week you want and we match you with clients and on call times. On call hours are 5pm – 7am Monday – Thursday and 5pm – 7am Friday – Monday. On call is rotated between several Lead Caregivers.

ideal Candidate:

  • Can work a minimum of 1-2 weekends on call a month
  • Can work a minimum of 1-2 weekday evenings a week on call 
  • Must be reliable, professional and have a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients as well as the Kore Care team
  • Willing to work as a caregiver and is skilled to work with a variety of levels of care (Hoyer lifts, stand aides, gait belt transfers, personal cares, housekeeping and companionship)


Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Participate in on call schedule which will include weekday evenings, rotating weekends and holidays
  • Be available to fill in as a caregiver as needed while on call
  • Administrative duties may include training and mentoring caregiver and recruitment activities
  • Assist clients in living their best life if the place they call home
  • Assist with personal cares such as bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene 
  • Assist with ambulation and transfer of clients with or without adaptive equipment
  • Remind clients to take medications
  • Complete light housekeeping and other support services including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, errands and transportation
  • Plan and prepare meals, assist with feeding and assist with kitchen clean up
  • Provide socialization and companionship
  • All other duties outlined in client care plan

Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in healthcare as a certified nurse’s assistant, home care caregiver, personal care aide preferred
    Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
  • Must have reliable transportation, current driver’s license and valid car insurance 
Compensación: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
