Our Caregivers are primarily the heart and soul of what we do. Our office staff provides all the required support and training for our caregivers to be successful with their clients. And in order to not let a client down, all office staff has from time to time worked in the field to ensure our clients get the care they need.
This is a flexible employment position that requires the incumbent to primarily act as caregiver to fill open shifts and then any remaining time will be spent as a recruiter/administrator, or back-up scheduler as the business change in order to have full-time hours. The successful applicant needs to be flexible in when, how and where they will work.

We are on the lookout for an experienced, professional, and compassionate team member:
- You have a career record of taking exemplary care of people (ADL’s required) and love doing it.
- You will have some experience in recruiting, administration and or/scheduling as these will be needed from time to time.
- You are adept at dealing with change and uncertainty and act logically and calmly to solve problems
- You are professional in how you represent yourself and the company in all situations
What you’ll be doing:
Recruiter, Administrator, Scheduler (75% approx.)
- Complies with HIPAA, federal, state, and local regulations and safeguards all client Protected Health Information
- Ensure that all individuals providing services for the Agency meet the qualifications be being a caregiver.
- Office capacity will be to recruit, interview, onboard and orientate new caregivers to the company standards and beliefs, personal file completion and other areas of H.R. administration as requested
- Creates and/or maintains staff schedules (in back up to our regular scheduler)
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Collaborates with the Owner in ensuring hiring rates match background experience and educational criteria.
- Handles client intake calls and promotes the services/benefits of ComForCare
- Creates and fosters an atmosphere conducive to the best morale and highest productivity possible and cultivates a team environment by mentoring, appraising, motivating and identifying areas of concern through open communication
- Searches for or provides staffing for week-end call-offs, sick leave requests, vacation requests
- Schedules caregiver shifts to new or revised client appointments/visits
- Contacts caregivers and clients regarding schedule changes
- Reviews client care plans and communicates summary of shift tasks and goals to each caregiver
- Enters staff and client information into the database (as required)
- Maintains and follows up on staff and client database requirements (e.g. outstanding caregiver compliance items, client appointments, client hospitalization, rehab and discharge instructions)
- Maintains call – in, late arrival, and early departure logs
Caregiver (Personal Care Attendant) (could be up to 25% approx.)
- Assist with client required Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) to help clients stay independent and in their own home (primarily) as long as possible
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding (as requested).
- Records and reports any changes in client conditions to the Owner, Administrator, or Director of Clinical Services
- Provides emotional support and motivation through conversation, encouragement, and recreational activities to meet client/family needs
- Adheres to infection control and safety procedures that are in accordance with Agency policies
- Addresses and treats co-workers respectfully to maintain a professional work environment
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

- The Owner may require you to accept additional tasks as necessary to meet the needs of the Agency

- Travel to a variety of client homes and perform in conditions that vary greatly depending upon the client’s home environment.
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, to enable the employee to safely lift, move, or maneuver whatever may be necessary to successfully perform the duties of their position; and frequent travel to a variety of field sites
What we’re looking for:
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate or higher
- A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is not required but highly beneficial
- Complete All requirements to be a caregiver in Nevada
- Previous experience recruiting caregivers
- Previous experience scheduling and matching caregivers to clients
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, demonstrating full ADL assistance, (in homes or senior communities)
