Caregivers will provide one-on-one care to the elderly in Farmington Hills, Northville, Novi, Livonia, and surrounding areas

Responsibilities and Duties

We provide in-home support and assistance to help seniors and others in need maximize quality of life and maintain independence!

Core job responsibilities include traveling to clients' homes and assisting them with:

  • Bathing, showering, toileting
  • Meal preparation & feeding
  • Dressing & grooming
  • Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail
  • Grocery shopping, running errands
  • Recreational activities
  • Transferring and providing transportation to doctor, beauty salon, etc
Qualifications and Skills

  • Positive attitude
  • Willing to work in Farmington Hills, Northville, Novi, and Livonia
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license, car insurance, and registration
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs may be required
  • CNA, HHA, PCT certification a plus but not required

Comfort Keepers is strongly considering candidates with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions. We offer a great paid training program for those with backgrounds in other industries interested in working in the medical field. You'd be a great fit if your background is in customer service, retail, hotel, restaurant - server, host, or bartender.
