A Personal Care Assistant provides various personal care and homemaker services in accordance with a customized plan of care for each client. Provides for the personal and homemaker needs in the comfort of the client’s home.

Essential Functions
- Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but not limited to):
- Person hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
- Assist with ambulation and transfers
- Eating
- Dressing/Grooming
- Preparation of meals and snacks according to instructions
- Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
- Successful completion of Nebraska approved C.N.A. program.
- Six months minimum experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of a reliable and insured automobile
- Possess the ability to consistently provide superior customer service to our clients and exhibit an exceptional work ethic.
